Valor Mortis Difficulty: Developer Statement and Controller Support
Learn about difficulty settings and controller support for Valor Mortis based on the latest developer information.
A developer-tagged Steam reply dated June 8 said that a Story Mode difficulty was not planned at that time. This is a dated development statement, rather than a verified inventory of the full game's launch-menu options.
Input Support
The Steam product listing lists full controller support, including DualShock and DualSense controller support. That listing does not establish that a controller or keyboard is the better way to play.
Demo Difficulty Versus the Full Game
The developers explain in their Steam announcements that the demo's Chapters I and VII were bespoke versions. General Lothaire appeared at the end of Chapter I in the demo but was intended for the end of Chapter II in the full game. Developer plans for tuning, optimization and fixes should be kept distinct from an independently tested difficulty assessment.
