Valor Mortis Story: Official Premise and Introduced Characters

The Valor Mortis story follows William Dowsett, a resurrected soldier in an alternate Napoleonic Europe struck by plague. The premise appears in the PlayStation product description.

Characters in the Announced Premise

The August 25 story announcement on the official Steam announcements page introduces The Shrike as a leader resisting Napoleon in occupied Eastern Europe. It also introduces James Stewart, a fellow soldier, and Lucjan Skawinski, a lamplighter.

These descriptions establish the alternate-history setting and named characters. They do not establish the ending, every plot event or how each character's allegiance develops.
